Experience fantastic family fun and thrilling rides at Drayton Manor. Best known as one of the country’s best theme parks, its is also home to Thomas Land and fabulous zoo.
The theme park opens from 9:30 daily with rides starting at 10:30 and doesn’t close before 5pm.
There is something for adrenalin junkies, families and everyone in between with amazing rides, spectacular attractions, live shows and characters. Park rides include Stormforce 10 that recreates a lifeboat rescue; the only stand-up roller coaster in Europe, Shockwave; free-fall tower Apocalypse and G-Force – instead of the normal shoulder restraints you’re held at the hip for a truly weightless experience.

Join Thomas and friends and experience the magic of Sodor in Thomas Land at Drayton Manor. Ride on Thomas himself or take a spin on the Troublesome Trucks Rollercoaster.
Open year round, the zoo is home to 100 different species from around the world. The big cat enclosures include tigers, leopards and lynx or visit the cheeky Meerkat mob. The zoo also has a fantastic collection of primates, penguins, reptiles and parrots.
An unbelievable experience! Opened last summer our favourite film has to be Marvin the Martin in the 3rd Dimension.
The Best Western Appleby Park Hotel, Tamworth is one of the closest hotels near Drayton Manor Theme Park. To get there just drive 10km down the M42 from Jctn 11 to Jct 10. Typically total journey time is 10 minutes. Both our hotel and the park offer free parking.
